Non-standard
is our
standard.

We are a small, highly automated factory in Bergamo. We make large-scale parts using a hybrid manufacturing technology: LFAM — large format additive manufacturing — combined with CNC milling finishing on the same robotic cell.

Our robotic system enables the rapid creation of complex shapes that would be impossible or prohibitively expensive by traditional means — delivering cost-effective, sustainable solutions for low-volume production of non-standard elements.

What We Make

From digital file to finished industrial part — large, complex, non-standard. Every part made to order.

01

Tooling, Moulds & Formwork

3D printed moulds and formwork for concrete, composites, GRC and UHPC. Architectural facades, panels, columns, urban furniture — geometrically unconstrained, delivered in 1–2 weeks.

02

Composite Tooling

Large moulds, jigs and fixtures for carbon fibre and composite manufacturing. Precision CNC-finished on the same robotic cell. Aerospace, automotive and marine applications.

03

Prototypes & Mock-ups

Full-scale architectural models, industrial prototypes and design installations. Up to 4m monobloc — or larger via modular assembly.

04

Automotive Parts

Large trim moulds, prototype fixtures, structural mock-ups and composite tooling for the automotive sector. Near-net-shape production — days, not months.

05

Furniture & Design Objects

Decorative elements, design objects and architectural installations in recycled bio-plastics. Where robotic precision meets aesthetic freedom.

Custom Applications

If your part is large, complex and non-standard, send us your file. We respond within 48 hours with a technical feasibility assessment and indicative pricing.

Additive Formwork

From
digital file
to formwork.

Our process produces custom concrete formwork directly from a 3D file — no master model, no polyurethane, no EPS. Including double-curvature, deep relief and full 3D forms impossible with traditional formliner systems.

The Hybrid System

Two technologies. One robot. Seamless integration from digital file to finished industrial part.

Step 01

LFAM

Large Format Additive Manufacturing

  • KUKA KR120 R3900 — 4m reach, 6-axis freedom
  • Pellet extruder: 20 kg/h at up to 450°C
  • 4 × 2 × 4m heated print bed — anti-warping
  • Near net shape output — minimal material waste
  • Materials: rPETG, ABS, recycled thermoplastics, composites

Step 02

CNC

Precision Milling & Finishing

  • Milling spindle on the same robotic cell — no re-fixturing
  • Surface finishing to ±0.5mm industrial tolerance
  • Eliminates visible layer lines post-print
  • Complex profiles machined in a single setup
  • Ready-to-use surface — no secondary operations

Circular by design

From recycled
plastic to part.
And back.

Closed-loop materials — production waste is reprocessed internally and returned to the print cycle.

Zero EPS — no expanded polystyrene, no landfill. Our parts are 100% recyclable rPETG or ABS.

On-demand only — no stock, no overproduction, no warehouse. Every part made to order.

Short supply chain — Made in Italy. Produced close to site. Lower logistics impact.

Common
Questions

What is Large Format Additive Manufacturing?

LFAM refers to industrial 3D printing systems capable of producing parts exceeding one cubic metre. Nanoo uses a KUKA KR120 R3900 robotic arm with a pellet extruder to deposit thermoplastic material layer by layer, achieving up to 4×2×4 metres. Combined with CNC milling on the same cell, the process delivers near-net-shape output with industrial surface quality.

What is Additive Formwork?

Additive Formwork is Nanoo's process for producing custom concrete formwork directly from a 3D file. It replaces traditional wood, EPS and polyurethane formliner systems with geometrically unconstrained alternatives — including double-curvature, deep relief and full 3D forms — delivered in 1–2 weeks without any physical master model.

What materials does Nanoo use?

Our primary materials are recycled rPETG and ABS, processed from industrial pellets at up to 450°C. The closed-loop system reprocesses all production waste internally. We can also process composite-loaded thermoplastics for higher-performance tooling. All materials are recyclable at end of life — no EPS, no hazardous waste.

Where is Nanoo located?

Nanoo is based in Bergamo, Lombardia, Italy. Our operational facility is in Credaro (BG). We serve clients across Italy — with a focus on prefabricators in Veneto, Lombardia and Emilia-Romagna — as well as the DACH market. International shipping of completed parts is available on request.

What industries does Nanoo serve?

We work across construction and precast, aerospace and defence, automotive and marine, energy, and furniture and design. Our common denominator is the part: large, complex, non-standard, and needed on short lead times.

How do I request a quote?
